My name is Emma Hesselson. I was a student at Rider University from September 2020 to May 2024, and I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Game & Interactive Media Design. I decided to pick the major I did because I've had an interest in video games for many years now. I spent much of my childhood playing on the Wii and Nintendo DS with my friends and family. When the time came for me to search for universities to apply to, I knew I wanted to get involved in making games rather than just playing them.
I'm flexible and willing to work in multiple different areas. I have some experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python. I am proficient with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I also have experience in using animation software such as Autodesk Maya and Toon Boom Harmony. As for game engines, the one I'm the most familiar with using is Unreal Engine. Check out the Works section of my page to see some of the things I've created.
